Another bad example of what it means to be Christian

I am a Christian by definition -I am a follower of the life and teachings of Jesus (the Christ) of Nazareth as presented in the New Testament. I believe Jesus to be the Son of God and the Messiah prophesied in the Old Testament and acknowledge him as my Lord and savior.

That being said this woman is not in any way representing the nature of Christ in her actions. this is truly a shame and causes (IMHO) people to run as far away from Christianity as they can.

Should we be afraid - Wifi?

This is both exiting and scary at the same time. i just came across this article at DCoT about Wave Bubble which has complete plans and instructions on building a low frequency signal jammer. It is small enough to fit in a package of cigarettes, runs of batteries that can be recharged from a USB port, and it is capable of knocking out any wireless signal within a 20 ft radius.

I think I'm intrigued...but i will surely change my network now....

Give Linux a Try

If you are interested in trying Linux but afraid of not having the software you need....I've been using Linux for years now and absolutely love it. Though i am not anti-Microsoft (I have a MS based PC and 2 Linux based PC's) I strongly suggest giving Linux a try. Visit Distrowatch to find your flavor. As soon as i can find the money between taking care of my beautiful twin daughters, running my business and VERY expensive gas cost to get to the office I'll buy a Power Mac....until then

My Grannie Has Gone Home

This is more of a celebration than a mourning....she was a follower of Christ and the strength in many Thomas' lives....I so look forward to seeing here in Heaven when I get there. My family however need your prayers.. look at the pic...its soooooo funny how much I look like her and I never noticed it until I took this picture with her and looked at it when I got home. It was taken months ago. my father has now lost his mother, his mommy, most definitely part of his heart. Please keep him in prayer and pray that I can be a source of strength for him in this time as we lay to rest the body of one of the most influential women in my life. Much love and God bless

Happy Begger Udates Encode360

Encode360, the next step in video transcoding

Encode360 is a slightly more automated method to re-encoding media to WMV compatible with the Xbox 360 than the previous wme360 batch file.

Some features:

* Automatically checks for necessary components (FFMpeg, FFDShow, WMCMD)
* Automatically determines the correct FPS to use when encoding
* Point the script at a folder and it'll encode all valid video file formats (Tested against Xvid and Divx. Others might have problems, but we can look into these as they happen)
* Drop a file onto it, and it'll encode just that file
* Select multiple files and drag/drop - it'll process them sequentially
* Ability to move encoded files to a separate folder
* Ability to move processed files to a separate folder

Microsoft is at it again

"Microsoft is profiting from punishment...The company has been obliged to open up its protocols as a result of the Antitrust settlement in the US, but the fees it's charging don't reflect that it was found guilty, and is being punished....they should be licensed for free.

...If you're creating a piece of network software or hardware that needs to talk to a Microsoft file system - a printer, storage server, or a piece of middleware - you must agree to pay Microsoft $50,000 up front in Prepaid Royalties. The fee then depends on how many users the product has, and what is accessed....
